You will evaluate refund eligibility, communicate with customers with empathy and professionalism, and protect both customer satisfaction and Apple’s business integrity. Your focus is on delivering exceptional support while making informed decisions based on Apple’s guidelines and standards.

Description

The Refund Specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing customer refund requests across Apple’s ecosystem, including the App Store, iTunes, Apple Music, iCloud, and other digital services. You will assess the necessity of each refund by investigating account activity, understanding customer concerns, and applying Apple’s refund policies consistently.

This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and effective communication to ensure that all decisions are fair, accurate, and reflect Apple’s commitment to customer satisfaction. You will interact directly with customers when clarification is needed and work closely with internal teams to resolve complex cases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Freshers are welcome!

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

  • Proficient in using computers and support tools (e.g., CRM, ticketing systems).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in refunds, chargebacks, billing disputes, or digital content support.

  • Familiarity with Apple’s ecosystem and services (App Store, iTunes, iCloud, etc.).

  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or Zendesk.

  • Ability to explain complex decisions to customers in a calm, clear, and respectful manner.

  • Understanding of digital fraud trends and refund abuse detection.

  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, policy-driven environment.
